Once upon a time, there was a girl from Eastern NC and a boy from West Virginia.  They met in the magical city of Charlotte in 2009 and their story began. Dave and Danielle moved to Indian Land, SC in 2012, and after years of home brewing decided to take the leap and open a brewery of their own.

They ventured to Colorado to shadow at a brewery to learn the ins and outs of brewing on a commercial level. They went in thinking at the end of the trip, they’d either come home and open a brewery, or say “that was a crazy idea” after a fun trip. And now here we are…

The definition of Folklore is, “the traditional beliefs, customs, and stories of a community, passed through the generations by word of mouth.”  When you think about it, everyone has their own story, their own “Lore.”
